Services

Our weddings (including vow renewals, commitment ceremonies and marriages) are designed for couples eloping — not small weddings. Simple, stress free, and FUN are our goals! We changed our guest policy in Summer of 2024 so that — guests, only five — who are children (biological or adopted) of the couple being married are welcome for all of our packages. Please read package descriptions for exceptions.

We also are happy to offer non-wedding related photo sessions — from family and couples photos to senior photos, graduations, engagements, proposals, head shots, just ask and check out our Celebrations Photo Package below!

Since 2020, appointments are required at the courthouse to obtain a marriage license in Chatham County. Make an appointment here.

Celebrations Photo Package

This package is for non-wedding photoshoots! Also can be used to add 30 minutes or 60 minutes to your elopement package with us.
Family photos, head shots, senior photos, engagement photos, milestone birthday shoots, surprise proposals, graduation photos, couples photos — if you're celebrating yourself or a group of people you love, we want to capture it for you!
Photo locations are the same as for our elopement packages — Forsyth Park, select squares in downtown Savannah, Tybee Island
We can do Bonaventure cemetery — however there is an additional $200 permit fee (before 5 p.m.) or $300 (after 5 p.m.) required by the location — please let us know if you are interested in this package and we can discuss this further. We would obtain the permit for our session.
If your group is over 15 people, there is an additional $150 charge
Available for either 30 minute sessions or 60 minutes.
Tybee Island sessions are ONLY 60 minutes
This photo package is not to be used in conjunction with any other businesses and is NOT for elopements or weddings with other officiants.

We are offering 35mm film scans in color, black and white, or some specialty films — just ask if you are interested and we can discuss what's best for you!

Additional information

Any of the packages may be customized to your needs and desires, within the terms of our business model for being an elopement business, not for small weddings. Please read the following information. It will answer a lot of questions.

We understand that if you have a larger guest count for various reasons, however, we want to stay true to our intimate focus on the couple and we might not be the right company for you if you have a lot or any guests.

Elope to Savannah is a business devoted to lavishing our full attention on couples getting married. We allow up to five guests that are your children in your wedding. An elopement is classically defined as running off with your fiance and getting married in secret! While we still LOVE that idea and it is our ideal couple to have.

If there are additional guests not listed (that must be children of the couple) in our they will incur a $100 per person charge. We allow only two additional guests beyond the allowed 5 (for packages that allow guests). Our goal is to focus on the COUPLE getting married and we wish to remain true to that and without lots of guests around stressing you out in the time we have together, we want the day to be about you.

Elopement package information

Your photography time starts with the ceremony and it will last for the duration of your package (30min or 60min depending on your chosen package). However, if you are late, the time we are contracted for, starts at your appointment time.
Packages DO NOT include chairs. Chairs would require an expensive permitting fee.
You do not need a permit for any location unless you specifically ask for chairs or decorations. We rarely ever have to do this and it is not necessary. Our ceremonies are short and sweet and it is simply not cost effective to pay for permits.
If not a resident of Georgia you must obtain your Marriage License from the Probate Court downtown Savannah. The hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. unless a holiday. You will both need to be present with your drivers license and the fee of $66. There is no waiting period, blood test or witnesses required. The courthouse phone number is 912.652.7267, if you need further information. If a resident of Georgia you may obtain the license from your home county and bring it with you if preferred. Likewise, if your former spouse has passed away, a death certificate is needed.
